OPL’s Osgoode branch celebrates 100th anniversary

OTTAWA - Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is extending an invitation to the local community to celebrate the 100th anniversary of OPL’s Osgoode branch on Saturday, November 22, located at 5630 Osgoode Main Street. The anniversary is a notable milestone and an opportunity to recognize 100 years of dedicated service to the community.  

Doors open at 10 am - for this special occasion, attendees can enjoy a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day, including: 

  • Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre performance at 10:30 am
  • Official remarks at 11:30 am
  • Magician Luc Leduc at 12:30 pm
  • Crafts with Christy and Osgoode history displays all day 

Special remarks will be given by City Councillor Isabelle Skalski of Osgoode Ward, Matt Luloff Chair of the Ottawa Public Library Board, and Sonia Bebbington OPL’s Chief Librarian & CEO. Light refreshments will follow. 

All are welcome to come celebrate with OPL and enjoy a day full of community spirit.
